Consider my brain wrinkled

Did you know that the plural form of octopus is octopuses? I had always assumed it would be octopi, after the latin tradition (e.g. radius to radii, etc.). But because the word is derived from Greek, octopous, you add an -es to the end and call it good! Crazy, right?
