I have returned from the cold, frozen tundra that is Utah! Hallelujah for warm North Carolina winters!! I'm glad to be home, but a little less glad to be back at school. It was really nice to not have to worry about readings or assignments. *sigh* But, if I want to graduate eventually, I'll have to keep at it. This semester looks like it might be a tiny bit easier on me than last semester. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
While I was in Utah, my Dad, my brother and I went cross-country skiing, but when we got there we were not able to go cross country because of a mix up with buss schedules and such. Any way, we went snowshoeing up a mountain. And when I say up the mountain, I really mean, up the side of the mountain. I think we gained about 1000 feet in elevation over the course of a couple of kilometers. It was crazy beautiful though! It was pretty steep, but it had snowed recently and everything was quiet (except for us). The pictures on the side there are some of the better pictures I took on the hike. Beautiful. Just beautiful... and ridiculous cold.
More on my trip to follow...
Hey Teri, Good to hear from you. I hope you guys had a great Christmas break. Dinner sometime sounds good. It might have to be next month because my brother-in-law is getting married this weekend. I'll talk with Marilyn and get back to you. We should do ribs again. We found a new store, "Aldi", and all their food is cheap because it's not name brand. Talk with you later.
